Updates
Windows, NVIDIA, and the game all updated today and now I only get DirectX errors once I start the game. Cannot play at all. Tried re-booting, but that did not fix it.

I did the Windows update. I have Radeon, there's is no update for that yet. You can try downloading the previous Nvidia driver and installing that to roll it back and test if that is the problem. Just guessing...
