So since Patch 2 the game has just been crashing. the game also is crashing for others. They made a post on steam and here about it. Yet there has been no updates.
Where is the community manager?
100% agree. The game is still crashing on my PC even after patch 4, and there has been zero acknowledgement from Bioware or EA about this issue. At this point I'm convinced we've heard nothing because they have no idea what's causing the issue.
I guess its time to just give up on the game. Had about 20 hours left to finish it. Played it for 140 hours and now will never be able to finish it. It says a lot about a company when they patch their game break it for many of their users and just leave those users with no help and refuse to have any communication. At this point I will not be buying any EA games anymore.
Does it still crash if you start a new character? Sometimes during the patching process games currently in progress can be in a state due to actions pre-patch that data becomes corrupted or is in an invalid state which makes the current playthrough impossible to complete with the current patch. Unfortunately, they may not be fixable and restarting the game is the only thing that can be done.
