Why?
The playable character is uncentered at all times. Not only does this drive me absolutely crazy, but it also gives me terrible motion sickness. The Persistent dot makes it worse and I have turned off...

Please Please make a Mod or patch that fixes this problem. PLEASE!
There is a fan-made mod for this called "Centered Camera" over on Nexus Mods, but that's unfortunately not an option on Xbox, since the console versions don't support modding. (Technically the PC version doesn't either, but it's easy enough to do it unofficially.)
Unfortunately BioWare implied they're only interested in fixing game-breaking bugs at this point, so I don't think this issue will ever be officially addressed. From their patch notes:
"With the game being in a stable place, we are moving to monitor for any game-breaking bugs should those occur."
