The game crashed, and after a restart everything was the same except all text is in French. Even when I go into the settings and reselect English it stays French even though the settings say English. Returning to default setting doesn't restore it either.
I have a similar issue. Was playing in English just fine for a few hours, and when I went back in the game it is stuck on French. Changed all settings to English, but it doesn’t fix the problem.
That's exactly what I had. I hard shut down and reset my console and the game a few times, it didn't work at first but then it reset to English on the 3rd try. Not sure if it was luck or server lag but try some hard resets 🤞

Is there a fix for this yet? Language in game is showing English in settings but every bit of text is in French. Un-installed and re-install of the game on my Xbox Series X did nothing to fix.... not going to reset console. All other games work correctly.
I’m having the same issue but it’s with Russian on my Ps5. I cannot change the language. Is there really no fix for this?
For me, I had to hard reset about 6 times and then it fixed itself, but I'm not sure if that was settings input lag or luck.
Similar problem for PS5. Please fix this! All other game laguage settings in my console work, except for this one. I would really like to enjoy the game I paid for, but not so much in French...
