It tells a lot about a company if they can't even run a working launcher for their Games. EA is a total joke.

Uninstalled here too. The App is absolute a waste of space. I am sure they already fired the one programmer who created it...

That's also why I won't spend more than $5 on EA games anymore so I quit playing them at anytime and not feel like I wasted a lot of money.
- BudaKhan11 months agoRising Scout@Eyeshield_2B it's annoying AF... keeps popping up in my face after quitting a game, regardless of how it was before starting the game. Did I mention that this is annoying AF, making me waste time repeatedly closing it 1000s of times a year... that's hours wasted on what? BS!

RE: Post # 57
Best solution for you is simply not to buy EA games. If you buy an EA game on Steam you will still have to go through the EA app which "puts you in their hands," just the same.
My experience has been good. Yours sounds terrible. If you are getting "random bans," and "deleted games," why on earth to you keep buying EA games. (Directly or through Steam - no difference except if you buy through Steam you need to open two launchers.)
I feel rather sorry for you TBH.
Oh yes, very understandable for sure.
I tried changing the EA app to move to another drive, but it won't fully activate after changing the paths from C: drive to H:\! Updating manually didn't do a damn thing in regards to fixing it. It keeps saying in an error message that the launcher has crashed, and that background services are not responding! What do I do? Guess I'm better off going for playing it on my Xbox One S...
Origin was at least slightly better. Either way, at least its not Ubisoft ""Connect"".
I dunno if you are a bot or something but...it worse on the EA side of things. buying an EA game puts you in their hands, which means your game gets deleted if they feel like it. Absolutely the most ruthless company there is. Random bans on accounts for no reason, no real support from human beings. Worse when you buy an older game, half of them dont even work haha.

Could you be specific. It seems you and I have had pretty much opposite experience. I am not disagreeing or arguing with you at all.
Purely, I am curious. The EA app, (since say 2 years ago) has given me a good user experience.
A few possible comparitives: 1. I NEVER link platforms (Steam to EA seems the most common). 2. I always purchase, never "EA Play.
3. I almost always use "repair game," as a verify feature if I haven't played for a couple of weeks or so.
4. I check for updates to the app, however I think it has always done that automatically on start up. I don't logout, but I don't permit
it (any EA service) to run in the background unless the App is open, which it always is when I play any game that launches from the EA app. If not
gaming, app is closed and the service stops about 45 seconds or 1 minute later.
All of the above are random points, nothing specific. Just wondering what is going wrong in your case. I do believe you, plenty of folks report issues,
but sometimes details are lacking so it's impossible to offer help, or say, "yeah me too, no excuse."
Final minor minor detail, I use ethernet, no wireless so have a very stable 100 mbs up and down connection. Real speeds. Up always above 90mbs. Down same always above 90mbs.
(Living in Japan. Fiber connection.) I doubt that's relevant.
Would appreciate a quick responce with the reason for your poor user experience.
I certainly experienced annoyances in the past, but for the past almost 3 years it's been just as good as Steam. No bugs, no weirdness.
