Re: Security Requirements on BF6 on PCs!

I am a long time fan of battlefield, and i've played all previous titles (from 1943 onwards) till blue both on console and on PC. It's a shame that i personally cannot play battlefield 6 without going through loops and hoops just because of the Javelin anticheat.
Personally running an anticheat on Kernel/supervisor mode don't make me feel much more safe either, and the last straw that made me give up is changing boot mode and making sure my drives are on MBR, i just wanted to hop on a weekend to play with people i love to hang out with.

I get that cheaters are getting craftier with time but it just aint right that we gotta get treated like this. I hope in the future we'll be able to play a version with a less invasive anticheat running on user mode.

This might be a "me" problem, or a "more people feel this way" problem. either way, i wish nothing but flourishing for the battlefield saga. BF6 feels like a huge step in the right direction, my deepest appreciation and praise goes to the hard working EA/Battlefield devs(and even for the Kernel anti cheat, even though I am not a fan of it).

Either way, i hope this message doesn't upset anyone, it was moreso the feedback of a long time player wishing to return to simpler times. If anyone feels the need to comment, please be polite :) Have a good day and thanks for reading.

"BF6 feels like a huge step in the right direction"....yes it does.  I would guess that some people complaining about the TPM 2.0 issue either have an old computer or purposely disabled it for some very vague reason.

I happen to not have a problem with secure boot.  Will it catch every cheater?  No.  But that's not really the intention.  If it knocks one cheater out of the game, then I am all for it.
