Option to invite a friend without overlay!?
I don't use origin or EA app in-game overlay. Sometimes it makes problems with game's performance. In Origin there was an option to invite a friend, without overlay -> minimize game, open Origin win...

FOUND A SOLUTION! One guy closes the game, and opens ea app, the other sends the invite through the game, then the invite will pop and if you accept it it will launch the game without the overlay and you will be in a squad.

I wonder why this hasn't been fixed yet.
It is the same story for us who plays the older Bioware multiplayers (DAI, and ME3). Since EA App overlay won't work for many of us, it is a pain in the rear to join our friends. Fortunately, some of us has a working overlay, and they are able to invite others, but it is extremely cumbersome.
So EA, for the love of God. Please implement the functionality to invite/join players directly in the app, like you could in Origin. It is the easiest fix for many of us.- And no, no matter how much I have tried, the overlay does not work for me in those games, despite it working when I still had Origin.
