I created a new folder on my D:\ drive called "EA Games", then I boot op EA Desktop, select the game that I want to download and then select D:\EA Games to download games in.
If you're having issues with setting a custom location for your games, then this might be a good way to go about it.
Didn't work.
I do not know if running as administrator helped(When this worked i was running as admin), but I created a folder EA Games in my F: drive, Then I went to download BF4 and went to change location. It was blank with no selections available. I type f:\EA Games and it worked. Do not put the EA Games folder inside of another folder. Just create it in the desired drive and see if that helps. Honestly seems ridiculous because people have obviously been having this issues for months with no real resolutions other than try this and try that. I hope you figure it out.
What I did was go to the folder first on your computer on the top where you see all the folders (Ex of mind is E:\EA\Install\EA Games) copy that whole thing and put it all in the folder tab. See if this work cuz I work for me.
so for everyone having this issue, the simple fix is going into the file location of your ea app, there should be an app called APP recovery, make sure you are closed out of the EA APP run it (APP Recovery) and reopen the EA APP, it should let you pick where you want to install it.
