EA App Download speed drops dramatically after a few seconds or minutes of downloading BF6 files. Drops from 220MB/s to 7 to 8MB/s afterwards and stays there.
Somehow this error / issue seems to persists for YEARS and no one at EA can or wants to fix it. Ridiculous.
Steam downloads go 200-300MB/s for over 10 years without ANY issues.
The "help" joke about deleting cache or running in admin mode is intended to just deflect guilt and make users feel it is their fault. In reality this does not do anything and the issue is with EA and their servers.
Deleting cache extends the issue btw, as you have to restart the download again, which wills stall at 7mb/s again no matter what.
Can I transfer the game to Steam somehow? Bored of wasting hours to wait for a few GB of data download.
Hello,
I wanted to know does EA have a download speed limit because i have a 5gbps internet and a port of 2.5gbps and when i download games in other platforms most of the time i get the full speed but in EA app it is capped at 92MB/s doest go up doesnt go down and its annoying to not be able to fully utilise my full network speed
Thanks!

@monsttahh, I'm sorry, you're saying that your internet provider provides you with a 5Gbps (equivalent to approximately 625 MB/s) internet speed?

@monsttahh, Are you certain you're not mixing up GB/s, Gbit/s, MB/s, and Mbit/s? The capitalization makes a significant difference in the expected speed.
Little edit: Even if your PC boasts a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port and your internet provider offers a 5Gbps (equivalent to around 625 MB/s) internet speed, are your modem/router or switch equipped with 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, or are they confined to the standard 1 Gigabit Ethernet ports? Additionally, what type of Ethernet cables are you using—Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 7, etc.? Or are you relying on WiFi?
