EA app download speed is too low

How on the earth I am spending 6 hours or more downloading a 90GB game on this app, when it is litteraly taking me 20 minutes maximum to download a game worth 130 GB on Steam ???
At this point, I tried all the weird tips given here and there on the forum or others social media, but none worked.

Just, how is it possible in 2025 ?
This issue exist since more than 10 years and have not been fixed yet.

I have a wired gigabit connection here, yet on the EA app recently (even after cleared cache and everything) things have only been downloading at like 3MBs which is 22mbps at most. What is going on?

I have been having slow download speeds on the EA App, it is topping out at 15-16MB/s and I have higher speeds. This is so frustrating, I hope EA fix this asap. 

The EA App download speeds are awful, it caps to 16/17mb/s and I have higher download speeds. I have cleared the applications cache and it is still the same. Can someone help me to resolve this? This is so annoying.

My current internet download speed is over 600MB/s

My current download speed on the EA app is 80KB/s

I have already gone through every suggestion/fix in the entire forum. Nothing has helped. 

There are still a whole lot of people experiencing these issues, and clearly whatever updates you made to the app did not fix the problem. The issue is on your end, not ours. Please fix this.

Everyone is having problems with this. EA is the problem, no matter what you do this is in EA end. And they don´t give a f... about you.

Sry but EA sucks

EA App Download speed drops dramatically  after a few seconds or minutes of downloading BF6 files.  Drops from 220MB/s to 7 to 8MB/s afterwards and stays there.

Somehow this error / issue seems to persists for YEARS and no one at EA can or wants to fix it. Ridiculous.

Steam downloads go 200-300MB/s for over 10 years without ANY issues.

The "help" joke about deleting cache or running in admin mode is intended to just deflect guilt and make users feel it is their fault. In reality this does not do anything and the issue is with EA and their servers.

Deleting cache extends the issue btw, as you have to restart the download again, which wills stall at 7mb/s again no matter what.

Can I transfer the game to Steam somehow? Bored of wasting hours to wait for a few GB of data download.
