EA App goes offline during payment when buying Sims 4 Kits

Hi, when I try to purchase new Kits (or anything) for The Sims 4 in the EA app, the app switches to offline mode during the payment process. First, I get a screen saying that the app can’t connect to EA servers, then it immediately says the app is offline and sends me back to the home screen. Because of this, I can’t complete the purchase and the items stay in my cart. I’ve already tried restarting the app, clearing the cache (App Recovery), logging out and back in, and even using a different Wi-Fi network and mobile data. Nothing helped. I also couldn’t find anyone else with the same issue. Does anyone know what could be causing this or how to fix it?

    Yeah… not solved solved, but I opened the EA Store in a browser and when I clicked on Pay, there was a pop-up window that didn’t open automatically. I had to allow it, and then I was able to proceed to the payment. However, it still doesn’t work for me in the app (So I wasn’t able to purchase the bundle with the 30% discount):(
