EA App is unbelievably bad. Multiple errors, games do not launch

I recently tried to play games I haven't used in a while through the Origin app. Of course, I find out that Origin is being replaced by the EA App, and I was forced to update...

Well, the EA App is an atrocious downgrade from Origin. I am unable to play ANY games because the launcher gets stuck saying "Launching Game" for an eternity, never opening. While I had minor problems with Origins at times, not once was I ever unable to launch games. I have cleared the cache, reinstalled multiple times, nothing works. On top of that, it takes me multiple tries just to open the EA App; it constantly tells me "there's a problem with my account". The app itself is also sluggish, it frequently gets stuck on a dark blue screen that shows nothing, and I have to wait 30s-1min before it fixes itself. I NEVER had any problems like this with Origin (or any launcher you can name, for that matter).

It's kind of astonishing how bad EA App is. Why would you make a much worse launcher than what you already had, and then force everyone to use it? I guess I'm just never buying another game on this platform again if EA App is going to be the way forward.
