EA background services are always running, even after you close the app.

The application fails to properly close when requested.

A small notification pops up when you attempt to close the app that says it has been 'minimized' instead. I cannot interact with the notification, nor does hte EA app ACTUALLY minimize in the taskbar; instead, a quick investigation into the task manager shows that the EA background processes are still active and running.

I would like to simply play the game I bought, however since it's apparently so important to require and entire seperate 'launcher application' to show up FIRST to shower my screen in ads and try and get me to buy something, I would at least like EXIT THE STORE. This is like window shopping on a nice day, only to have the cashier follow you home trying to get you to make a purchase. Why am I not allowed to have control over the code within my own personal computer???
