EA desktop lost deluxe pack on mass effect andromeda

Hi, ive been playing Mass Effect andromeda for a while now, but this game essentialy got broken.

Game is deluxe version through xbox game pass linked to EA desktop, the only thing which happened was cumulative windows update and since than, launching game and pressing resume button on main menu screen produces this:

Save Data Error

Unable to load your save file because it is linked to game content that is no longer installed:

Deep Space Pack

Deluxe Edition Pack

Please reinstall the above content and try again

Microsoft Store doesnt see this game, so cant repair from there...

Origin cant see this game also cant repair from there...

EA Desktop doesnt even know what repair is

do you really think i would be redownloading 48GB just because EA developers are nuts???

    Thanks for the post, that's very strange.

    Thank you for mention Windows, can you find the game's .exe file and check if the game's been set to run in any Compatibility mode after the update? Do find this, go to the game's .exe, then right-click > Properties and check the Compatibility tab. YOu can try setting it to no compatibility mode, or W8 compatibility mode as a test. 

    This has been known to happen, and has lead to the error message you mentioned. Turning off Compatibility mode should hopefully help if this is the case.

  • hi, thanks for reply, but compatibility mode doesnt seems to solve it.

    i did uninstall mass effect and now it cant be donwloaded, i can choose where to download it, both deluxe and deep space DLC are there aswell in download options, but once i click download to confirm it, nothing happens, download manager is empty with "nothing is going on here"

    downloading anything else which isnt tied to xbox game pass works normal

    i did try some other games which i dont own in origin and are from xbox game pass and none of them seems to be installing, just download options where to install and nothing happens at all :/

    only bottom left corner shows preparing, calculating time..., but no CPU, drive or network usage

    ea desktop settings shows that ea play with xbox game pass membership is there

    update:

    uninstalling EA app and installing it new resolved issue

    now from event viewer i can imagine what went wrong:

    as you cansee it installed never version, now the question is, why EA app didnt update itself on its own? O.o

    Thanks for the update, and that is indeed a good question.

    I'll wing this info on to the EA desktop folks.
  • I have the same issue, but un- and reinstalling the EA did not solve the problem. Any ideas?
