Is there a way to force the EA app open in offline mode?

I have The Sims 4 in my account and my girlfriend play in my account, but i want to play TS4 and other games in the same time that she is playing TS4 in other computer... Theres a way to open the ea...

Agreed.  This is damn ludicrous and after all this time,  it looks like a deliberate hobbling of customers right to run their software offline. 

Honestly think a class action is appropriate at this point.  Shameful of them.

I've just had this issue too.  I had to set my phone as a mobile hotspot to get online, to tell the EA app to go Offline.  Bloody ridiculous!!! If I hadn't had my phone I'd have been screwed :-(
