Why am I getting forced to install EA App?
every time i open origin it softlocks me into a window that suggests to install ea app. now i thought okay its forcing me to install this must be a good reason but no. i log in with the right account...

Don't have the Origin app since EA updated their app months ago, so this supposed fix is not a fix for many of us.
Obviously not everyone's computer is the same so all fixes/workarounds aren't for everyone. But months later, I still recommend @NovaDragonScale 's link to the YouTube video by StickmanWeasle and also another video on his channel to get rid of the popup (and also the white screen...but since I never intend to download from EA again, I don't care if Origin is just a white screen).
