Can't get packs to work on new EA app

I got the notification on my Mac through Origin to switch to the new EA app. I was super excited to do that, but when I did my packs wouldn't download. All 48 add-ons that I'd previously had access to say they're in my library, but there's no download icon. When I actually open the Sims 4 it tells me I have to download the packs but there's no way to do so. I've restarted my Mac, the app, and the Sims 4 numerous times with no resolution. I've also made sure by Mac, the EA app, and the Sims 4 are fully updated. I've tried repairing the Sims as well and it did nothing. Help?? I've spent so much time and money and now it's all wasted.
