For me i had the same problem with dragon age origins and i can start the game with the play button as the photo.
Can you try it?
The other play button below installed games column if i push it it says to check my internet connection.
Unfortunately, I've tried every way that you can possibly ask the game to play and it isn't working. I even tried to uninstall and reinstall the EA app twice. Their help desk is doing absolutely nothing for me at all other than claim they are working on it and to follow the twitter but the twitter doesn't even mention it and you'd think if this was supposedly something a ton of people are dealing with they'd keep us updated some how.
Same issue. Had to reinstall DA:O and when I try to log in it tells me I'm not online (I am) and that 'EA servers are no longer available'. Uh.. that can't be true, can it??
