EA app keeps saying temporarily lost connection

Summarize your bug I have tried literally everything. Clear the cache. Reinstalled EA. Repaired EA. Make sure that the firewall for EA is approved. Uninstall my antivirus malwarebytes. THe only way I can connect to the EA app is to use a VPN but I do not know why this is the case. What can be done to play without using a vpn?
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I dont know how this bug was made
What happens when the bug occurs? Temporarily lost connection message and cannot log in
What do you expect to see? Temporarily lost connection message and cannot log in

Tried so many solutions but none have worked. What can be done?

  • I have been having trouble launch EA APP with same error and just resolved it. If you have Kaspersky AV; apparently they just updated it and turned on blocking for all SSL 2.0 traffic within the network firewall.  Turning off AV will not disable the firewall - just AV - so you have to renable the use of SSL 2.0 in the firewall setting. Started working immediately after I re-enabled SSL 2.0. Hope that helps a few ppl.
