EA Play in offline mode
Hi, the answer is :" if i install star wars jedi: fallen order, using Ea play subscription, a fews days later can i play without internet connection? " Thanks, Attilio
Hey @Attaloxx if you set EA Desktop or Origin to offline then you should have no issue playing offline.
You will have to periodically go online so as to ensure that the licenses are fully up to date and working but I play EA Play games in offline mode all the time.
Darko
Not to be rude but that's not true, I'm always required to have an internet connection for the EA app when I want to play any EA play game and it's really annoying as I dont always have a connection. Please fix this.
Hey @ebleek while offline play is not available during the EA Desktop Beta you can still access your game through Origin which has an offline feature.
Darko
Hi Darko, thank you for that reply, I want to ask how can I access my games using origin?, I'm also an Xbox game pass ultimate user that's how i got my EA Play subscription
how to play in offline mode
Well, its 2023 and Origin is no longer available for Windows, and this cursed EA Play app is still on Beta and I cannot play games offline that are already in my computer, an issue I did not have with Origin and I have never had with Steam. And yes, I tried the "offline mode" and the "keep me logged in" features and it doesn't work. Eaither they fix it and let me play all the FULLY UPDATED SINGLE-PLAYER GAMES that I have been playing for years or they let me launch these games without EA Play.
But please do not lie to people by telling them that the app works offline when the app doesn't even run offline.
Dear Darko,
I vigorously and vehemently object to not being able to access games I purchased fully and own from my hard drive without the EA app running. The app will not start if I don't have internet access, or if there is something going on with the EA server, like today. The EA app has locked out local executables. This is unacceptable. Also, it will not let me use Origin. Origin is removed because of the EA app and you can never go back to Origin. The EA servers are down today, and there is no possibility of using the EA app in offline mode. You need to advise a workaround to this.
Friends,
When someone takes something you paid for and won't give it back, you don't vehemently or strenuously object.
You sue them.
That's why we have the law.
If you bought the game, you own it. EA can't decide when you get to play.
Sounds like a class-action lawsuit to me.
