same problem when trying to download fifa23 via xbox game pass. just can't wrap my head around it, why deleting already downloaded files when you can just do a quick verification on them? guess EA always put their games above players, which is what sets them apart from other studios

ok here comes the Honey *Hangs head and Sighs* Thank You The Sims 3 Team for fixing the "The Sims 3" Launcher problem.
ok Now for the Hachette part. EA App is still having problems Downloading some expansion packs and a Stuff Pack.
Now this had been Going on NOW for 3 or 4 Months. come to think of it when EA Decided this app is good enough not to be marked "Beta" any more. That is still a BIG, huge Mistake Should have stayed in Alpha testing even Longer. Now the games list that is having issues on Downloading is:
The Sims 3 University Life Expansion Pack
The Sims 3 Movie Stuff Pack
The Sims 3 Island Paradise Expansion Pack
The Sims 3 Into the Future Expansion Pack
and Now adding to that List is:
Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut
They All Hang on "Preparing" and just get stuck there.

I am Running Windows 10 and for I Wont download that windows 11 headache IF i can avoid it for a while longer. So My Stupid Question here is this: What is it with EA and 3's as of late? lol
ok I believe that's on the Hachette I also added a picture on the Download Error. I also get another one it jus says "Download Error" at the bottom of the progress bar.
Edit: Sorry I Forgot a file.
Also Region is NA, Internal HD and so on. BTW this is a Semi New Computer, Like right out of the Box.

This fix May work for some of you guys. It didn't work out to well for me though.
@ElhaSims The 2 DLCs are already downloaded and working but having acquired them again, EA's ticketing system in my opinion is quite painful and slow, but what can we do?
The funny thing about all this mess, would be that everyone who did not work with a particular DLC or game would look at the order history, to check if at any time they had errors in the acquisition, like me with these 2 DLC's.
I have seen the link that you show from the English forum, Link English Forum and yes, it happened to me when I bought the expansions, but I solved it easily.
The Sims 3 Into the Future bugged_
1º I made a backup copy of the "The Sims 3" folder on another SSD.
2º Uninstall the complete game from the EA app client.
3º I copied the Backup folder "The Sims 3" to the original location where the game was installed, to save time and data in the download.
4º I reinstalled the game "The Sims 3" and the DLC I purchased to download already appeared.
5th Play.
You don't have to delete anything from the Documents folder, you don't have to touch it to fix the game.
My problem is due to a failure in the purchase history. But like I said, it's already fixed. But not because of EA's help. That is why I say that the EA app or EA Desktop client may have a bug or BUG in how it identifies if the game is owned or not.
