So I logged in EA and my friends list is showing that they all are offline when I know they aren't and they aren't blocking me from seeing them. I can run Battlefield fine, but I cannot join their squad.
I restarted the app, logged out and back in, restarted my computer, cleared my cache and went offline and back online. What else could I do to fix this?

The application is up to date.
This is unacceptable, there is no way to invite people to your party in BF.
same here and i seen a few other posts as well for this same issue.
same problem since yesterday. Funny thing is I only can see status of 2 friends but others not. Eventhough there are online. I tried to remove them from friendlist and adding again but it remains the same. Did all the same as the OP.
I have exactly the same issue since yesterday. Last weekend all EA server was offline, this weekend all of my friends offline. Top of that cheaters everywhere. Well done EA again!
Came here to say that I have the same issue.
I have been having this same issue the last few days. I had an American friend add my friend from the UK, and he could accept the friend request but they cant see or play with each other.
They can message each other through the EA APP, however.
So it seems to be anyone across the pond is not showing up for me in America.

I am also getting this issue - tried everything online that's been posted; clearing cache, reinstalling the app. I'm running Pihole adblocking and all DNS requests for ea.com are going through fine so its not that. Really got no idea.
