My EA App is showing friends offline when they aren't

So I logged in EA and my friends list is showing that they all are offline when I know they aren't and they aren't blocking me from seeing them. I can run Battlefield fine, but I cannot join their sq...

I don't think it's a DNS filter error, which I have my friends are trying to invite me and it gives them the error "must be a friend first" I am wondering if older accounts got bugged, because the only way to fix it is to create a new account at this rate.
