Re: Can't install/reinstall EA Desktop

There most be something wrong or conflict. Tried the workaround and installation is succeed. But I cannot launch app normally, not responding like installer. I have to skip EA launcher and execute EAdesktop.exe from folder. But this "Double workaround" have tons of problem, skipping launcher means that I cannot get the update. App never remember my account and password and runs like *, I got instable fps like 15-60(but cpu usage is very low). Maybe something wrong with ui interface? Or non-english system user name?

    Here I can install and log in to the EA desk, but when trying to install the game through the XBOX app, it says that I need to download the EA DESK, even though it is installing and running in the foreground. Has anyone had a similar problem?

    This is the cause of my problem !! My windows profile is named "Léo"
    I tried to launch the "buggy" EA Desktop installation via another profile named "DIEU TOUT PISSANT" and the app launched ! And worked with my Game Pass linked account !

    To be sure that the problem was really due to the "é", I created another profile, and named it "Méféchié". The app did'nt launch.

    So... EA, are you kidding us ? Really ?
