Re: cant update BF2042

yes I saw this read this article last week, I think I used the EA app Cache. did not help.

After a while I tried to hard turn off my pc in the middle of the update process and that got it out of that loop and the game was able to start.

This weeks update worked okay. Sort of figured it out.

Started BF2042 but looks like not the full update was done

BF2042 started seemingly okay, with notion of the new remodeled Doha/hourglass map 

but could not find any game to play, when wanting to join a friend got an version error message,

looks like EA app did not see any update nessecary to BF2042. But parts of it were updated, like the splash screen and notion of map changes.

well

In stead of choosing repair (like above) this week i chose to reboot, and start only EA app. 

then the option of BF2042 was available, did the update without any problems. and played a few rounds

lesson for me learned do not use repair option in EA app
