@FairyHappy22 When you load the exe file to start the install, is that what is taking a while to physically install? It is a small file so the install of the app itself should not take that long. If you have a new HDD, and Windows was reinstalled this sounds more like a permissions issue with Windows instilling programs.

    It's the installer that's taking a while. The EA App is showing up under my Apps and Programs and Features sections but the installer just hangs. I can't access the EA App itself though, since it just goes to the laggy installer that's not actually installing anything. I'll just have to take it back to Geek Squad and ask them to install the App since they are the ones who installed the new Windows and HDD. I'll let it be their problem. I'm not going to keep trying to install it.

    @FairyHappy22 I would first just uninstall it, I would try these. Something is blocking it. That could be a firewall, antivirus, Windows permissions, UAC, etc. Before you have to take it back, I would edit these and see if that helps. Usually when a file hangs, it's corrupted, or needs permission from Windows.

    Okay I'll try those when I get home (at work right now). Thank you for continuing trying to help me even through my frustration is not helping.

    Okay none of those worked. With the Safe Mode with Networking, it even refused to enable the WiFi.

    I'm just going to take it back to Geek Squad. THEY did something to my computer that is causing it to not install this App, so I will let them figure it out. I'm done because I'm just getting more and more frustrated. I have other games I could play in the mean time.
