Re: [FIXED] Sims 3 DLC download error, "Something went wrong"

Though, your direct approach was admirable, your stubborn methods will not be rewarding for you in the long run. What I mean is, we already see what EA is doing. If you really want to stick it to them, just get the key code for 94% off from a 3rd party gamer site (like g2a). I went that route because I don't want to pay full price. How else am I going to keep playing?!

  • After using the new code workaround, I'm having a weird error where none of my store content will download. Every time I try to install store content, it says "Installation failed: Please make sure your game has the latest Software Updates and try again"

@CielEponine It did it to me too, I lost a day, the day before yesterday, to be able to download them, I solved it like this, I opened the game and I got to the screen, where you can choose which scenario to play with or where you find your saves. Access the online functions, then at the bottom left there are three dots, click on them and click on download interface, a screen opens, from there you can install your personalized material from the store, and it installed it for me, the only problem it's just that it's a long process, I had 18 pages to download, don't install it all at once, install them a little at a time, to do it first I tried to install them page by page, but everything stopped, installing them a little at a time is there successful, then close the game and restart the computer, reopen the sims 3 now it should have downloaded all the material from the store. Except of course for the extra store personalized material, you will have to do that as you have always done from the Sims 3 launcher
I hope I was of help to you, good luck
