Re: How to fix EA app Error Code EC:10005?

I tried logging in 5 different times in the past 15 minutes and out out of those 5 times, I was able to get the EA app pulled up once, however I noticed that when I launched Sims 3, all my expansion packs were missing from the installer despite playing with them just fine for the past 3 months, and the EA app saying they're installed. Tried clearing the EA cache after noticing this problem and when I've tried to log in again, boom, Error Code 10005. So, so frustrating...

I tried restarting my game from Steam about two hours ago now. It kept timing out.

Logged out of the EA App and haven't been entirely successful at logging back in since then.

I did have a couple of times within the last half hour or so that it "mostly" logged in -- once it knew me but didn't have any games, the other time it didn't know my name but knew what game I owned.

Still couldn't start the game from Steam for either of those cases.

Now I'm continuing to retry getting actually logged in to the EA App, and maybe *then* I'll be able to play my game.

I'm on the east coast also and this just started happening an hour ago, i was in app and was going to launch Madden 24 and it said it needed an update so i tried updating. It got hung on preparing so i just closed out the app and now its screwed. When i try logging in i get the EC:10005 or i get logged into a blank screen which eventually tells me it can't connect to the servers and restart should fix it, a restart does nothing. I've tried recovering the app, repairing the app, reinstalling the app, deleting all ea files on my pc before trying another reinstall, system restore and cleaning my registry. Sorry to everyone dealing with this buts its a relief to see im not the only one as i thought i messed something up or was banned or something.

Happening to me too, nothing I have done works. uninstalled and reinstalled, followed directions previously from this thread, clean booted and tried again. Useless. I have not been able to sign on for over a month. thought I would give it another go. I'm gonna start needing some refunds.
