Re: How to fix Error Code EC:10000 or EC:10500 in EA app?
I am getting the same error code (as mentioned in the first comment) EC:105xx after a few hours of offline play. I'm also sure I got a notice telling me to set the app to be "always offline" which is not a feature it has. Then, again, it may have been upset about an update (Aug 18/19 2023 at about 1-2 EST) that was interrupted due to a storm when the internet cable was severed. As such, I have been experiencing the offline feature of the EA app all weekend and I'm not impressed.
I am able to log onto the app for the 2 minutes it takes to put it into offline mode via mobile hotspot (which is not a viable solution), but with the app failing like this, I cannot stay logged on in offline mode.
Update: trying to sign in again and I get the message "Error code: EC:201" "...sign in online, and select ... so you can continue playing games offline."
