Re: How to fix Error Code EC:10000 or EC:10500 in EA app?

I'm on a mac too and this was the fix for me 😊. Delete the EA app, download origin, install and login to Origin. Then your told you have to download the EA app, click the button (don't download from ea.com), install and hopefully your EA app works again 👩‍💻

  • @elleb2 I found the solution! Search up proxies in your settings, and make sure they are all off. I had two on and once I turned them off, I was able to login to the EA app.

@LOPEZ822 none of the proxies were checked by I unchecked 'use passive FTP Mode (PASV)' and it worked! Thanks so much!

For me Battlefield 1 didn't start.I then logged out of ea launcher. After that I deinstalled Ea Launcher and started battlefield 1 without the Ea launcher. Then it asked to install the Ea launcher and I did install it. And after it the game started.

  • You are a lifesaver omg I could not figure it out!!!! From Canada and on a MacBook too, such an odd issue

  • Thank you so much, this worked for me. And I tried everything and got to the point where I was screaming and crying
