Possible solution, guys!
Been having exactly the same issue - product bought via EA App, payment goes through, EA app doesn't register you've bought it and tries to charge you again/doesn't let you download or use the product.
On a whim, I just tried something and it WORKED!
- Top left in the EA app, click the three lines
- Click 'Go Offline'
- Wait for it to disconnect
- Click the three lines again and click 'Go Online'
- Wait for it to reconnect
- The products should now show as 'download'I really hope this works for you too!
This worked for me today! I went to update the Sims 4, but it was missing from my library when I launched the EA app. After going offline and then back online, it reappeared with the update ready for download. Thank you!!!
