Re: Purchased game/DLC available on Origin but not the EA app

@coolangel2012 Could you post a screenshot of your other packs how they look on Origin ? For me it says Details and not Play on Origin so it would be good to know what the other packs say.

This happens for me too. Most of my Sims 4 DLCs are showing as not owned in EA Desktop but are listed as owned in Origin (in the App as well as on origin.com).

I'm located in Germany and bought all of my DLCs through Origin (as far as I can remember). Hope this can be fixed somehow because EA Desktop is much more pleasant to use imo.

Having the same issue...my only expansion pack that shows up is "Get to Work" on EA desktop, while on Origin, I have 3 expansion packs, 2 game packs and tons of stuff packs. All missing from the EA desktop...I haven't launched the game from EA desktop to see if it's missing in game though...will let you know. 

having this issue with cottage pack did you figure it out? also missing in game but i have receipt of purchase.

I'm having the same issue and have been for months, EA desktop doesn't seem to access the same account info or the database it's stored in is seriously messed up.

I have also seen some reports coming in from @EA_Mari that some things were missing.

@kn1ghtsabre Which DLC exactly are you missing?

I'm missing The Sims 4 Snowy Escape. I contacted chat support and they told me I had to rebuy it because EA desktop and Origin are separate platforms. However I don't think that's the case, given that EA Desktop seems to be the successor to the Origin client. Anyhow I also have that text transcript if you require it.

@kn1ghtsabreI have contacted them before because all the packs I'm missing is in the same order. They checked and said that my purchase did go through, so there is no issue about my order, but they can't change the license.
They also said that EA desktop is still in beta so they don't have proper support of that, if you own it on origin you can still play on it.

The purchase history /receipt will still be there even origin retired (they said ), so if the pack is missing at the end it was easy to show purchase though.

Apologies for getting back to you so late, but are the games/DLC still missing form EA Desktop?

We are still investigating this but we couldn't find any issues. To help with the investigation, I would like to reach out via DM and ask you a few questions if that's alright?

I was wondering if it has something to do with X-Box Game Pass subscription. My subscription includes ea play wich is only working in combination with EA Desktop and not Origin.

And es far as I know, The Sims 4 is part of ea play, but not it's DLCs. Maybe that's causing some issues?

Is anyone else here subscribed to ea play and/or Xbox game pass?

EA Play Desktop App said i need to buy Mass Effect 3 DLC's i allready buyed trough the Trilogie Edition...

I have need to switch on origin to play mp with my main character  

The heck. I have all the packs and all the DLC but when o go to play it in this EA App it says I don’t have anything?!?!? And that I need to purchase them all over again!!?  Ever since i got this EA app it’s even saying I dont even own the main game. What’s the fix to this!?! Cuz I am not gonna be repurchasing everything. 

I purchased NFS Miami Heat on Steam and it currently plays on Origin.

On the EA beta app it currently shows I need to purchase the game. 

Hi i have the full standard version of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning on Origin (have since its release in 2012) inc all DLC. My page on the app indeed shows all this but if i try to instal it the game only installs the demo version and refuses even to allow me to login using my EA details or Origin details so will only let me play the demo. Please get this sorted out, i cannot even use the old origin launbcher as as soon as it starts up it shows unremovable splash screen to upgrade to the new EA app. Not happy.
