4 years agoRe: Purchased game/DLC available on Origin but not the EA app
Hello EA app players,
I have seen some reports where some games/DLC that were purchased are not showing up on the EA app. We are currently investigating why this is happening and I will post any updates that I have in this thread.
If you encountered the same issue, then please provide the following information:
Which game or DLC is missing:Screenshot that shows the game/DLC available on Origin:Screenshot that shows the game/DLC missing on the EA app:Your region/country:Where the game was purchased: (EA app, Origin or third party retailer)
The game or DLC appears as owned on Origin
On the EA app it says that you have to purchase the game or DLC
You don't have to purchase it again, we are looking into this and you can continue playing the game or DLC on Origin.
Keep in mind that there are other scenarios that are unrelated:
Game UnavailableClear cache, set an exception for the EA app in your AV/Firewall, disable VPN, run as administrator.Game/DLC that hasn't been released on the EA appSuch as Battlefield Premium or Alice: Madness Returns, they could be added at a later date.Unable to play the purchased game on both Origin and the EA app after the EA Play subscription expiredFirst try clearing the cache via App Recovery, if it doesn't work then contact our support team.Steam games that can't be played on the EA appFor now you can only use Origin to play your EA games purchased though Steam.Game unavailable in your regionThis means that the game is unavailable in your region.Games purchased through third party retailers not appearing in both Origin and the EA appDepending on what this issue is, it might be better to create a new topic for this on the forums.
