When I try to run The Sims 4 game, I keep getting this message. "The app couldn't read the game's license file, so If the problem continues, try clearing your cache."
I have been having this problem since the last EA App update. I can run other games with the app. It seems only The Sims 4 is affected.
I have cleared the cache several times as suggested. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the EA App, as well as launching the EAUpdater.exe. I did the repair game option a couple of times. I have disabled my anti-virus and VPN. I have tried to find any solutions on the forum, but I have only seen other players posting about having the same problem, but not getting any answers or help.
I have been playing The Sims since The Sims 1 was released. I was even a beta tester of Sims Online. I have spent so much time and money on this game and I feel like I'm just being left out in the cold. EA just wants my money, but can't be bothered to help when they break the game.
Over two weeks later and still nothing. Not surprised any more by the pure ghosting from this company. Only thing I get from them is messages to buy the newest DLC for a game I can't even play. And haven't been able to since May 2024.

I have four games in my EA App Library. Before The Sims 4 and one other game was giving me the Game license in invalid error message. But I was able to play the other two games. Now when I went to try to play those games, they are now giving me the error message. This is a problem with the app, not with the games. Will someone help me please. This is ridiculous how little this company cares about it's paying customers who have supported them for years. I started playing the Sims when it first released, 25 YEARS AGO. I feel like that loyalty just has been tossed out the window.
