Sims 4 DLC from Steam or Epic Greyed Out on EA app for Mac (Worked on Origin)

Hello, I am a French-speaking player and I need help with a licensing issue on the EA App for Mac.

My setup: MacBook M4, macOS Sequoia.

The issue: I have my Steam account linked to my EA account.

I successfully installed The Sims 4 Base Game on my Mac. However, all my expansions and packs purchased on Steam are marked as "Only available on Windows" in the EA App. There is no download button for them.

What I have already done: Linked my Steam account (and Apple account as well). Successfully downloaded the "Holiday Celebration" free pack on Mac. Cleared the EA App cache (App Recovery). Restarted the app and my Mac multiple times. Opened a support case #234945156. It seems to be a sync issue between Steam and the Mac version of the EA App. Could a someone help me please ?

im having the same problom right now but in windows, i tried closing my ani virus, reset my laptop to have a clean slae but nohing workedd, now the ea app isn,t showing me the free games like apex and skate on the left corner .

SOMEONE HELP PLEASE.  I recently just got a new macbook air and have been trying to downlaod sims 4 onto it but it isn't working. If i go to the website, click download for mac, but then when i try and click continue to checkout, the button does appsolutely nothing. When I try on the EA app, it says the sims is an unavailable game. 

I have tried many things such as reinstalling the EA app, restarting my computer and clearing the EA cache. I'm in New Zealand and have seen 2 other people on here having a similar problem, but nobody said how to fix it. please help!!!!!!!

I have seen a few threads like this but none as specific and no real soultions I could find (in the time I could spend scrolling through). 

I used to have a Windows PC so I played Sims on it using Steam. I bought the Sims Pets expansion and Parenthood, and some other add-ons. I now have a Mac so I changed over to EA all was fine with the base game, but my add-ons won't carry through? They are greyed out, saying 'available on Windows'? 

Even when I go through the EA app I can't purchase them as it says I already own them?

I did some googling and it seems like this is just a thing that happens. Surely not, it can't be that you buy on one device and it doesn't transfer over surely??

Also- I checked, and my steam account is connected to my EA account.

Please, any advice on how to fix this thanks!

So, I originally had Sims 4 on my old MSI laptop, but I got a Mac for Uni. I had crystal creations, cats and dogs, city living, the holiday celebration pack, laundry day, paranormal, parenthood, seasons, tiny living, horse ranch, and get to work. 

now that I have switched to a Mac in the game if I go to the store it says I own them, but in manage add-ons they are grey and say available on windows under them. The worlds that came with the packs aren’t locked like un purchased packs worlds are they are foggy looking and say world not installed. 
I know I could re-purchase the packs because I got fed up and re-purchased Get to Work, but I don’t want to do that again I just want my packs back.

p.s I purchased the some of the packs through steam, but some of them like horse ranch I got on the EA app on my phone. 

I have the exact same issue with The Sims 4: Fashion Street Kit and The Sims 4: Luxury Party Stuff. The pack used to work just fine, I downloaded them on the EA app. A few months ago, I had to re-download the game and all of the sudden the packs are unavailable. I even contacted ea support but they just told me to post on the forums so here I am. 

The exact same issue happened to me, but with the fashion street kit and luxury party stuff pack instead of jungle adventure. Like you said they worked perfectly fine before!

I have this issue as well. I contacted ea support on the live chat and they did not help. I don't know what to do

I need my add ons switched from windows to Mac they won’t download at all

Nope, unfortunately not. DLC is not transferable between Windows Steam and Mac EA App. You will have to rebuy the Packs.
