I have seen this posted elsewhere on the thread, so my apologies for a repetitive topic, but having read through the other posts and attempted to recreate the fixes suggested, I am having no luck.
When I attempt to launch the Sims 4, I receive an error: "Failed to launch game. An error on our end cause the launch to fail. Try again a little later." When this happened in the past, it lasted for several months, rendering the game unplayable, and then one day poof it worked again. My wife played it 10 days ago with no issue, and then today, the same error is back again.
So far I have attempted to manually update the EA app (no updates available); attempted to manually update The Sims 4 (no updates available); cleared the EA app cache (cleared, but made no difference). Within the EA launcher app, I attempted the "repair" option for the sims (under the "manage" option). However, despite a completed repair, I receive the same error.
I've attached the DxDiag and I filed a report with EA, not sure how much good it will do. Thank you in advance to anyone who might be able to assist.
