The EA App is not linking with Epic Games

I bought EA Sports FC 25 from the Epic Games store. When I clicik on it from the library to install, it installs the EA App and then it shows an error (from the EA App) saying something went wrong, and to try again to link the apps. Note this happens before I even get to log into my EA Account. I have tried uninstalling and reistalling the apps, doing it on multiple other machines (All Windows 10/11) and it shows the same error every time.

What can I do?

    Hi @TheRealTortino,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues connecting your accounts.

If you try launching the EA app separately, without using the linking option from Epic Games, are you able to launch the EA app and login with your EA account?

  • Yes, by itself I can use the EA App normally and can login. But I cannot even access or download the game since it was bought on Epic Games

Please try running the EA app and Epic Games as admin. Leave both apps running in the background and then try launching EA FC 25 to see if you're able to connect the accounts when prompted.

  • @EA_cuervo Yes, but same thing happens. I have already tried clearing the cache using the EA Recovery tool and trying again (while logged in on the EA App and also without logging in first). The EA App is updated to the latest version. I ran out of ideas at this point.
