Time limit pop-ups in EA app when limits set to Unlimited

Please describe Playtime tracker is not accurate at all.

Summarize your bug The Playtime Tracker keeps telling me that I passed the daily limit by 211 hours! When I check the time I played in the "Playtime Dashboard", it's different than what the pop-up already said.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1- Enable Playtime Tracker. 2- Play a game till you get some pop-ups.
What happens when the bug occurs? Pop-up says I passed the daily limit by incorrect amount of time.
What do you expect to see? Correct time played.

Check if disabling playtime tracking entirely rather than setting it to unlimited has an effect here, thanks.

Quick question: Does this affect the tracking of how many "overall" hours I spent playing my games?

I had the same problem a few weeks ago. The first time it went on for a short while. It happened while I was gaming and it did disrupt the game.

I have it on "Unlimited".

A few days ago I did have the same problem again, but now it was more persistent and took longer. At that time I wasn't gaming, but it was really annoying.

The timer went from one hour or so up to 30+ hours. Pop-up after pop-up.

Yet again: I have it on "Unlimited".

At some point I just closed the software with Task Manager.

I just had the same issue happen to me; I was playing the Sims 4 for like 4 hours or so as well when the notification happened, and I have all of my play time limit settings turned off. Also, I've literally never set time limits before either, and everything is turned to unlimited as well if I turn that customization slider on. So I'm really not sure where the app is suddenly getting this whole time limit thing from. Yet the notification told me that I was like 7 or 8 hours over that non-existent limit. 😞 I mean, I love the Sims 4 as much as the next newbie to the Sims fandom, but I know for a fact that I don't play for THAT long in one sitting!

And just saying; I had to manage a Werewolf Sim unexpectedly rampaging at a Windenburg Bluffs party when this happened... Right in the middle of my attempts to get him to regain control, the notification somehow decided to go off on me like 5 times in the span of 2 or 3 minutes, just to rub salt in the wounds. 😬

EDIT: just got another notification that I'm 24 hours over my non-existent time limit... This one was after like 2 or 3 hours of the Sims 4. Okay, I DEFINITELY don't play that long, and haven't played for that long... Because last time I checked, humans need sleep to survive. 😃

I just started experiencing this. Somehow got 333 hours over my playtime??? I'm like how the app is just sitting there idle with no game open even, and my pc hasn't even been on for 333 hours straight.

EA.. EA never changes

Why is disabling one of the basic features of the app the only solution for this? Especially when the ea app resets your settings every other day anyway, so it's not like it sticks

So on ea fc 25 when I do play with a friend on div rivals or squad battles is says something about playtime but I’ve never had a problem on any other fifa or fc 24 as was all on unlimited and it tells me I won’t gain anything.
