EA support knows but there is no solution what to do now?

@1111kartik1111 @pashayevsahin2 Are you using Steam or Epic? If you are can you try reinstalling the EA App?

@ElliotLHSame issue for BF2042 on steam. When the game came out I linked my steam to my ea account and could play no problem. Now I come back after not playing for a year or two and after launching I get this error.

So I google the error and look for a fix, reinstalling the EA app from their site, changing high dps compatability settings for EALink. I even tried origin but it said I needed an activation key. I then decide to try and unlink my steam and ea account from each other and attempt to relink them but I can't find a steam link option on the EA app or the EA websites connections settings; I only have one EA account. I even tried to sign into EA through the steam platform login but it said the password needed to be reset. Which I did and helped nothing.

After a few hours my only idea is to ask for support, maybe someone here can provide a fix. Well anyways, in about an hour I'm off to play BattleBit Remastered so I'm not mad. Cheers

I've bought Fifa 23 on Steam since it came out and I still haven't been able to play it due to this problem you've mentioned, I have a computer that more than meets the minimum requirements, I uninstalled and also reinstalled everything and nothing... I say I have Windows 11 and I have also changed the compatibility with EA applications and nothing... anyway when I open the EA Play application individually it opens wonderfully but when starting FIFA 23 with Steam the error mentioned above by the friend here appears! I can't claim my money on Steam because the time limit has passed but EA doesn't fix this either!!!

Now, why on earth they don't just say this is what needs to be done on the error screen is beyond me. I literally was playing something early this morning, then 7 hours later I couldn't launch from Steam. Empty cache, tried closing the ea background app, restart pc. Nope, needed to update pasword for some reason.
