    @Jytix I actually found a temp solution to installing games on a different drive from ea desktop.. so I keep my games in D:\Games\ I found that if you select to change game install directory and you get the blank screen, you can still manually type in the path you want.. although for some reason it only allows you to include a single folder hierarchy but it's better than nothing. so if you try to install battlefield 5 and you go to change directory and lets say you want to install in E drive and Games folder, you would manually type in E:\Games Afterwards if you click select folder it will change the path of install to E:\Games\Battlefield V
    Give it a try.. also it will not work if you try for example E:\Games\EA Games\ as it does not like going more than one folder up.. good luck

@Kerad2Yep. Trying to install Battlefield 5 and can't choose an install path. Just defaulting to C (Like the app itself did)
Unfortunately, my C drive is a 80GB OS-only partition, so I can't install anything there.
Seems par for the course though from EA. I honestly can't remember the last time I managed to play an EA game without having to spend 3+ hours on forums trying to make it work. It's like they don't have a single person working for them that cares about user experience.

Edit: And Origin doesn't recognise that I've linked to my Gamepass account, so I can't use that as a workaround to install EA Play/Gamepass titles. I'm starting to suspect that the EA Desktop app is the reason that the EA Play launch on Gamepass was delayed.

    @Kerad2 Funnily enough I found the same work around a couple of hours ago trying stuff on that blank window. You just need to make sure the folder exists already, then you can just type it in.

      @ErgoProxyKilla does the workaround still work? When I click on change install directory I just get a black flash, like a pop for half a second.

        @Raiyaan11I just tried it and it still works for me.. You should get a blank screen and at the bottom you should be able to manually type in the new path you want the game to install to.. i added a picture for you to see. if you don't get that, than i'm not sure, you may have another issue..

    @Kerad2 That worked for me, thanks. I'd tried it earlier, but I seem to have gotten too accustomed to typing paths in unix terminals, cause I was trying to use forward-slashes lol.

    Oh, I just got this problem. I dont get a black screen though. All I did was pressing the Reset to default in download settings, and THEN changing the path. Thanks anyways !

    @Kerad2 Thanks for the tip, but the issue is still a major one. It's been ~4 weeks since your post was made and this is still an issue. I understand the app is in beta but come on, 4 weeks without a fix?

      @JdotDeLL410 I completely agree.. all we can hope for is that EA checks the forums, notices this and eventually will fix it in an upcoming patch.. fingers crossed..

    Thank you @Kerad2, finally can use this silly program thanks to your temp solution.. just to say; over a month on and EA still haven't managed to fix this simple problem of the window being 90% white, and many have told them!

    I do wonder why they reinforce their don't care, nasty, money grabbing image.. they could of done some pennance by giving *snip* about us for once (lol!).  Still it's nice to have a few more games to play off the back of my game pass sub, I imagine that the decent titles will roll off to EA Play Pro as we progress to encourage take up on that subscription, but for now it's not too bad.

    @Kerad2 Thank you! This worked. I created a path for EA Desktop in my Game drive and just copied that address.

    @Kerad2Did not work. When i try that it gives me a pop (which i can not fully see, only the X for closing it shows). So i am forced to close the pop up which closes the change directory window. This is total half assed app

    --edit--Was solved by creating the target directory before hand
