I am sorry to hear that you're having this annoying issue with the EA app & Origin.
May I ask you to try to create a new local Windows administrator account, to see if it works as it should on that account? That way, we can check if it's something on the PC itself that is preventing the games to work on your normal Windows account, or if there's something installed/configured on your normal Windows account that could be blocking the EA app and Origin from working correctly.
On this page, from Microsoft, you can read more about how to create a new local Windows Administrator account: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/create-a-local-user-or-administrator-account-in-windows-20de74e0-ac7f-3502-a866-32915af2a34d.

Thank you, I just tried that and it worked perfectly! So I guess the issue is finding out whats breaking it on my main windows account. I suppose I'll just start uninstalling things, but is there any commonly known programs that cause this issue?

@Snaakee0, I am glad to hear that this at least has shown that it's user Windows account related and not game/PC related.
It's indeed a good question if there are any common programs that could be causing the issues that you're experiencing, however, I would unfortunately not be able to name those specific programs since there are hundreds, if not thousands, that are from the same category. The most common blockers tend to be Anti-virus software suites or PC hardware related software, like a special program for your mouse or to control RGB for example.- Snaakee04 years agoNew Novice
okay no worries, I'll just have to experiment a bit and maybe do some googling. thank you so much for your help otherwise. 🙂

Hey @Vexas745,
Yeah it is totally understandable that you don't want to keep switching Windows User accounts in order to play EA games. But I am afraid that if you're running into the exact same issue, there's something installed on your current Windows User account that is blocking the games from working as intended. It's a pretty rare situation and I have also never been able to replicate the issue myself. I also expect that it is not something very well known that is blocking this, otherwise there would be more reports about it, I would assume.
