Bug Report – Incorrect Penalty Shootout Result in Manager Career Mode

Hello EA Support Team,

I would like to report a serious bug that occurred in Manager Career Mode in EA SPORTS FC 26.

I was playing an Emirates FA Cup match between Manchester City and Coventry City. The match ended in a draw and went to a penalty shootout.

During the shootout, my team (Manchester City) won with a score of 13-12 on penalties. However, after the match ended, the game incorrectly registered the result and eliminated my team from the competition.

As shown in the attached screenshot, the tournament screen states that Coventry City won the penalty shootout 12-4, which is completely different from the actual result that occurred during gameplay.

This bug changed the outcome of the competition and unfairly eliminated my team despite winning the penalty shootout.

Attached evidence:

• Recorded result after the match: Coventry City won 12-4 on penalties.

Please investigate this issue, as it can significantly affect Career Mode progression and competition integrity.
