EaLauncher not Sync with Battlelog BF3 page +visa versa due to Xbox I never used

EaLauncher.exe not in Sync with Battlelog BF3 webpage and visa versa due to "Xbox" I never used but EA claimed I did!

Webbased BF3 Battlelog link battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3 does not relate to EALauncher.exe and visa versa ... WHY? They operate with different mind-sets ... unlike Origin ... I recently red that Origin will stop at the end of this year and am forced to use "EALauncher.exe" claiming I am connected to "XBOX" somehow which I never used! Thus it will not allow me to play BF3 via PC Windows which I easily could when Origin what working together in sync with my webbased BF3 Battlelog link.

I never ever used XBOX and refuse to use any "Microsoft Games" my whole life ... and installed anything that has to do with Microsoft >> except Windows 10 Pro (trying to push me to use all their other products, which I always refuse).

  • 2 ways to start, after fresh reboot computer:

"EALauncher.exe" that will launch web page: battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3 (choosing BF3) then when I chose a BF3-server to play a multi-player game it claims I already started the game ... this never happened with Origin.

  • after fresh reboot computer 2nd time:

Starting from battlelog, Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3470 CPU PCI 3.0 DDR5.battlefield.com/bf3 first (not "EALauncher.exe") I see a pop up appear: "to start Origin" with the Origin logo then when I click to start ... "something is wrong with your account" then when signing in "EA Account" (also a popup) it states: "Your Xbox and EA Accounts don't match" .... I never ever used "XBox" ... I bought a new second hand computer (backup computer AFTER I had severe Video-card & Power loss issues with my original high-end game-pc) ... I stopped & blocked & uninstalled anything that has to do with "X-Box" of the previous owner of my new backup PC (16 Ram, SSD, Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3470 CPU PCI 3.0 GDDR5 @ 3.20GHz 3.20 GHz, AMD HD 6670 1G Graphics Card (soon replaced with 2G or 4G video-card).

"origin.com/download" link option in Origin "pop-up window" is now automatically forwarded to https://www.ea.com/nl-nl/games/library/pc-download (which I already did ... I already installed that link!).

When I click on the "Origin pop up window" on start Origin it will go to: "origin2://library/open?&authCode=QUOwAG4CRfwLJItEMLCr_iSkqCno9XPY3wV134c0" which gives an error than it shows another popr up from the EALauncher I already had installed ... I have to login for the second time (which is weird!) as I never had this issue with Origin ... then after signing in for the second time I read: quote: "Your Xbox and EA Accounts don't match" ... Your Xbox account is linked to a different EA-Account than the one you're using on the EA app. Exit the EA app, then retry installing or launching an EA Play game from the Xbox app". (unquote)

The problem is ... "I never ever used XBOX" ... sigh :/

What should I do?

If this can be solved ... it can be an example (solutions)  for 1000s of others worldwide who bought a new second hand computer NOT using XBOX but get a weird message from EALauncher "you somehow do".

That would be great!~🙂

Sincerely,
John Kuhles

  • Hey @eXoUFO,
