I can't change my avatar on this forum anymore
i wish i knew this way sooner but incase you still didn't know here are the steps you can add/change your avatar i didn't even knew it was there for a long time but i hope this explains better?

it didn't any help ... even after this long
there isn't any option to "upload your own avatar/picture"
if you haven't seen the picture i shared
having the same issues here, there's ONLY "Choose from gallery"
