Is There a Set Amount of Posts?

I noticed this today too. I think I wrote 5 replies and then couldn't write more until I had waited for an hour or so.

I don’t want to jinx myself but I’ve had luck signing out and signing back out right away after getting that message as well. I wish it didn’t happen, more than a year since these forums launched and it’s still doing this😕

I have tried waiting, but that never really worked for me. I did close out the forums and went to read a few emails. When I came back, I could post, so that may be how I should handle it. I might even try signing out and then in again right away. (I can be very impatient sometimes.) Thanks to Both of you for the response. I just got hit again.

I am having this issue too.

I was unable to reply to this post when it happened to me, but it is still happening to real users. Perhaps some kind of captcha could be enabled to help? With the new implementation of the Sims 4 bug reports categories, with some requiring more reports it would be nice to be able to reply easier.

See, lately that's what's been happening to me, too. I did leave the forum, after I posted, and read my emails. Came back and as I was responding above, it wouldn't let me publish. Oi.

I had to look at my profile to be certain, but I posted 5 times a few days ago and then I was not allowed to post anymore.  I discovered that I was not permitted to post any comment when I went to the bug reports to post a new bug and it would not let me.   So brilliant me, thought- only 5 comments now?  okay - I'll delete this one and then I can post the new bug I found.  Nope - I deleted 1 comment and I still could not post the new bug.  I share this because of the fact that deleting 1 of the 5 comments won't allow you to post a new 5th comment.   I have no idea about the time frame.  is it 5 per day, or 5 per ??? amount of time.  I wish someone would clarify. 

I myself recently got this, I even had a pre-written apology ready for all the posts awaiting my responses (which waited till the next day sadly), and I did lose an productive conversation because of this notice/block.
