Whatever EA employee marked another random reply as a solution: DON'T DO THAT. It was not the solution to the problem I encountered. I honestly have no idea if the problem ever was resolved, since it was intermittent, though it's not occurring now. But if it was fixed, it was nothing to do with users adding an exception in scans/blockers.
If it makes EA look bad that this thread was never closed, good. EA should be ashamed of how much broken stuff they just shrug at.
If you want a marked solution on this thread, find out how somebody at your company fixed whatever somebody else at your company did to screw up people's access to your website and post that as a reply.
