Toggle "like" notifications

Question

I never liked the concept of likes. Especially because I get notifications about it which cant be turned off. I just dont see the point in getting a notification every few minutes about people hitting like on my comments. I just dont care. Its annoying on social media and forums alike. I care about people interacting. You know, giving actual feedback.

The forum screaming "LOOK! Someone looked at your comment!" isnt interaction for me. Its annoying. What am I even supposed to do with that??

Also with the way the notification list is designed it bad for our eyes. It takes more time to sort out the notifications where people replied and they are mixed with the like notifications. And to top it off, I unfollowed topics and still get notifications about likes.

So please, make it optional for those who want or not want it.

Zasz_Zerg​ there is an option in your profile settings here that corresponds to "Likes":&nbsp;My Settings: Follows and Notifications | EA Forums&nbsp;"I receive likes on my content"The default notification setting is to receive a digest email once a week to avoid getting spammed. You can change that yourself to "never" if you'd prefer that.

This is not solved!That setting is for email notifications, not browser notifications.I disabled it for emails. Why cant I disable it for this website?
