Not Enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Failing to turn on 2FA on major platforms (Steam, Epic, Blizzard) leaves accounts vulnerable, even if the password is unique.

Free" Content Baiting: Gamers often create new accounts for "free" in-game currency (e.g., V-Bucks, Robux) or to download mods/cheats from third-party websites. These sites are frequently designed to steal login credentials, which are then used to take over the user's primary accounts.
