To say this is a frustrating issue is putting it *very* mildly. I've been dealing with this since I started playing DA:I on my Series S and couldn't access my EA account because my XBox is linked to a disabled account. Chat support is a joke; I have been connected for most of the past three days and gotten nowhere. If the chat pops up, I never see it, so the agent closes the chat and the case. This leaves me waiting ANOTHER 4+ hours to try again, lather, rinse, repeat. It's ridiculous that they can see the account linked to the console is a disabled placeholder name, yet all they do is shrug and say 'Nah. Can't do anything'.
