I have this issue as of last week. The email I used when I was a kid was deactivated and now I can’t get email verification codes to unlink this email from my EA account, which I need to play the EA games that I BOUGHT. EA support has been unreliable and completely unhelpful in resolving the situation, where I submit a case (the most common replied solution by community forum managers) yet the cases do not show up in the “My Cases” tab on the EA website. No confirmation email or notification that anyone is working to resolve the problem.
There is no point for any of us having this issue to buy any games from EA currently because we literally cannot play them. EA needs to address this not only as a company that claims to care for its players but as a general courtesy of customer service. This should be a simple fix and it highlights the mis-management of player accounts and lack of efficiency in basic customer service.
